Being little is hard. The rules are confusing and why isn’t everything to be touched and experienced? My prayer for you, young son, is that you can find a few moments to be patient each day.
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this little boy; the constantly moving fireball that brings so much laughter and joy into our home. I pray for patience for myself, patience for him and patience with each other each and every day. May you help him control his body, learn there are consequences to actions and that the rules put in place are to keep him safe. Help him to have fun within the boundaries and to use his words when he feels frustrated. Thank you for creating his brain in a way that’s helping me to see the world differently. Help me to pay attention and stay ahead so we can go quickly and stop together. May he learn patience now, so he can grow into the loving, patient man I pray he becomes one day. Guide my words, my actions and my reactions as I parent through the easy moments and the hard ones this week. Thank you for entrusting him to me.
~Amen
Very sweet! I will say from experience that praying for patience is an invitation to ask God for a trial😆
Many blessings on your blog!

True…..Sometimes we are praying for patience when already in the trial ❤️💙 6 months later, life is cruising along pretty well. Thanks for the encouragement!
