Ocean tides….

I’ve said it before I’m surrounded by strong, inspirational women- and I LOVE it!!  Some  organically cross paths with me, some I seek out, sometimes both.  I recently had a take away from Coletta Smith, the new Mrs. MHC Pastor’s Wife 😍 “There are things that can be toxic for us during  a season; they aren’t necessarily bad, they may even be good things, but things that aren’t good for us at that time.  Are we willing to allow God to move us to a different place for that season?”  Mandy’s on the move ladies (and gents!)….

2015 Cancun: Cindy & Sue

There’s an amazing trip going on that I would LOVE to be a part of.  The beautiful farm of a leader I look up to and admire deeply, surrounded by other leaders who I love and respect (and would LOVE to hug the necks of, stay up late in our PJ’s dreaming and encouraging each other, etc).  I’ve had the honor and privilege over 7+ years to learn from, listen to, be inspired by, vacation with, Cindy Monroe. What she has done for women through her vision of Thirty-One Gifts and her submission to God to trust Him to grow her reach to places she couldn’t have dreamed on her own is AMAZING!  I am so blessed to be part of a WONDERFUL company.

If you had asked me in January of 2016 if I’d be on this trip in February 2017, I would have said WITHOUT A DOUBT! Sign me up now! What do I need to do?! My passion bucket is filled with (girl fun!) leadership weekends where I can plan, dream and renew. However…..

Seasons in life can come in & go out like ocean tides. It’s the same ocean, still good and beautiful, but the tide does go out. My Thirty-One tide is out right now…. Thinking on Coletta’s point, Thirty-One is a GREAT thing… I’ve been praying about this for months and feel that God is moving me, not away from Thirty-One, but out of leadership for this season.  Toxic….no, it’s amazing.  Toxic to my family right now..those words feel harsh, but it’s toxic to my focus right now.  What’s GREAT? I can still be part of the “Pink Bubble” on a much smaller scale for now.  And when/if this season passes and my tide rolls back in, I can jump right back in!

So ladies, love each other, inspire each other, dream with each other– renew your souls this weekend! (and take LOTS of pictures for me so I feel like I was there too!) Mwah!! 😘
